Lorrin Kreider

Reverend Lorrin Arthur Kreider died on Wednesday, February 29, 2012.

Born in Istanbul, Turkey on January 1, 1930, he was a graduate of the College of Wooster, McCormick Theological Seminary, and the San Francisco Theological Seminary. He served as a Presbyterian minister for over 40 years with congregations in Illinois (Willow Springs, Mt. Zion, and DeKalb) and Ohio (Athens and Worthington) and as an interim minister in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and Ithaca, New York.

A service to celebrate Lorrin's life will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High Street, Worthington, Ohio, 43085. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High Street, Worthington, Ohio, 43085, www.worthingtonpresbyterian.com , or the First Presbyterian Church of Athens, 9 N College Street, Athens, Ohio 45701, www.athensfpc.org , or the National Parkinson Foundation at www.parkinson.org.
